Fence rules in Blacktown City Council

Under the NSW exempt development rules a boundary fence behind the building line can be up to 1.8 m high without approval on most residential lots. Blacktown City Council applies those rules; estate covenants in the North West Growth Area may add colour or style requirements. Pool barriers must meet AS 1926.1-2012 regardless of council.
