Fencing in The Ponds

Blacktown is Sydney's most populous council – from the 1960s fibro-and-brick streets of Mount Druitt and Lalor Park to the new estates of Marsden Park, The Ponds and Schofields where every lot needs a fence before the landscaping goes in.

What we install in The Ponds

• Colorbond fencing – new boundary fences and replacements in 1.5 m to 2.4 m heights, any Colorbond colour, either sheet profile
• Retaining walls under fences – treated pine or aluminium sleeper walls built directly under the new fence where levels differ
• Gates – Colorbond single and double gates, slat, louvre, timber, pool and sliding or automatic driveway gates
• Fence height extensions – 300 mm or 600 mm louvre, lattice, slat or sheet toppers on your existing Colorbond posts
• Pool fencing – aluminium flat top and tubular barriers built to AS 1926.1-2012 with self-closing gates
• Aluminium fencing – rust-free flat top, vertical picket, blade and slat aluminium fencing for coastal and front-boundary use
• Slat and louvre screens – aluminium horizontal slat, vertical slat and louvre fences, screens and gates in any powder-coat colour

Local notes for The Ponds

What we look for at the measure in The Ponds – rolling Cumberland Plain with clay soils that hold posts well; many older blocks have a level difference to the neighbour.

• Sleeper retaining walls under a new Colorbond fence are common on the older sloping blocks around Blacktown, Doonside and Seven Hills.
• Double Colorbond driveway gates built to match the fence are a Blacktown staple – see the photos on the Blacktown page.
• New estates come with covenant colour palettes – we install to the developer's requirements (Monument, Basalt and Woodland Grey are usual).
