Welcome to Fencing.Sydney. We listen to what you want from your fence, give straightforward advice and build it properly – whether it is a home, a strata block, a commercial yard or an industrial site, big or small.
All colours are the same price, both sheet profiles are the same price, and every quote is free. We are fully insured and licensed, and we offer pensioner discounts.
How we build a Colorbond fence
- We only use genuine Colorbond® steel made by BlueScope Steel Australia. Each sheet carries the laser-etched Colorbond insignia so you can check it yourself.
- All Colorbond colours cost the same, and choosing a different colour for the frame (posts and rails) than the sheets is also the same cost.
- Every post is set 600 mm into the ground with at least one full 20 kg bag of concrete per hole.
- Colorbond fencing can be built up to 2.4 m high. Fences over 1.8 m usually need council approval – ask us before you decide.
- Heritage-listed properties need council approval before a Colorbond fence can be built.
- We can remove an existing brick wall, old timber or Colorbond fence, and up to 10 m² of bonded asbestos fencing as part of a replacement.
- We can double-sheet a new fence or lattice so each side is a different colour. The frame stays one colour on both sides.
- A new 30 m Colorbond fence, including demolition and removal of the old fence, typically takes 1 to 2.5 days.
- If your ground level differs from your neighbour's, a treated pine (H4) sleeper retaining wall is built directly under the new fence.
- If you would like to go ahead with a quote, we arrange a free on-site visit and give you an estimated start date. Start dates depend on the weather.
- Pensioner discounts are available. We are fully insured and licensed (NSW Fencing Licence 269038C).

Two Colorbond sheet profiles – same cost
Standard / Trimdek
The traditional Colorbond fence profile with a wide, shallow rib. Matches most existing Colorbond fences built over the last 20 years.
New Style / Zig Zag
A sharper, more contemporary profile. Both profiles are the same cost – choose whichever suits your home or matches the neighbouring fence.
Colorbond fencing styles
Plain, or with a decorative insert
Lattice, louvre and slat inserts sit in a 300 mm frame on top of the Colorbond sheets. Any style can be built as a new fence or added to your existing one as a height extension.
Gates
Colorbond gates, slat gates, louvre gates and sliding gates
Single pedestrian gates up to 1.5 m, double driveway gates up to 3.1 m, and fabricated sliding gates for tight driveways. Every gate comes with a D-latch; double gates add a drop bolt. Key locks are optional.

Colorbond double gates
Driveway gates up to 3.1 m wide with drop bolt and D-latch.
Louvre gates
Colorbond gates with 300 mm louvre tops, or full aluminium louvre gates.

Need more privacy? Extend the fence you already have
A 300 mm or 600 mm extension bolts onto your existing Colorbond posts with matching post extensions, a rail and your choice of louvre, lattice, slat or solid sheet insert. Installed by us across Sydney, or supplied as a DIY kit Australia-wide.
Compatibility depends on your existing fence – the post profile (Lysaght, Slimline or Standard) and the condition of the posts and footings. We check this before quoting, and we will tell you if an extension is not the right option.
