Fence rules in Cumberland City Council

Under the NSW exempt development rules a boundary fence behind the building line can be up to 1.8 m high without approval on most residential lots. Cumberland City Council follows the codes; heritage areas in Granville, Auburn and Lidcombe have front-fence controls. Pool barriers must meet AS 1926.1-2012 regardless of council.
