  2. Match the post profile – A Lysaght, B Slimline or C Standard double-ribbed. Not sure? Choose D and email us a photo.
  3. Pick your colour. This panel is made in Charcoal only.
  4. Add to cart and check out. Pay by card or PayPal. Choose courier delivery (quoted live for your suburb) or free pick-up in Sydney's west.

Identifying your Colorbond post profile

Colorbond fence posts (C-posts) come in three shapes. The extension post slides over the top of your existing post, so it must be the same profile to sit neatly and screw off securely. Look at the top of a post from above and compare it with the diagram.

The three Colorbond C-post profiles compared: Lysaght, Slimline and Standard
  • A – Lysaght: Flat-faced post with a square top and a single wide channel. Common on older Lysaght-brand fences.
  • B – Slimline: Narrow post with small, closely spaced ribs. Common on newer fences in NSW.
  • C – Standard (double-ribbed): Wider post with two pronounced ribs on each face. The most common profile in Sydney.
  • D – Not sure – match it for me: Choose this and email a close-up photo of the top of one post to fencingsydney@gmail.com after ordering. We match the extension post for you at no extra cost.

Delivery, pick-up and lead time

We aim to deliver within 14 days of full payment. Limited stock of 300 mm inserts can be delivered or collected sooner.

Courier delivery Australia-wide: at checkout we fetch live quotes from our freight partners (via Shippit) for your suburb and show each service with its price and estimated transit time. Long panels travel as oversize freight, so prices vary by region.

Free pick-up: Collect from our Blacktown-area depot once your order is ready. We email you when it is ready to collect – usually within 14 days of payment, sooner for stocked 300 mm inserts.

Returns

As materials are made to order, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for incorrect choice. Please make sure the post profile, length, height and colours match your existing fence before paying – if you are unsure, choose 'Match it for me' or email a photo of a post top to fencingsydney@gmail.com first.

Yes. Choose your options above, add it to the cart and pay securely by card (Stripe) or PayPal. Prices include GST; delivery is quoted live at checkout or you can pick up free from our depot in Sydney's west.
How do I know which post profile I have?
Look at the top of one of your existing Colorbond posts and compare it with the three diagrams: Lysaght (A), Slimline (B) or Standard double-ribbed (C). Will it fit my fence?

What is your returns policy?
As materials are made to order, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for incorrect choice. Please make sure the post profile, length, height and colours match your existing fence before paying – if you are unsure, choose 'Match it for me' or email a photo of a post top to fencingsydney@gmail.com first.
